This term we have had an extremely busy time preparing for and taking our Mock SATs. The children really pulled out all of their maximum efforts and gave a very good account of themselves, well done everyone!!
In the classroom we have been learning about the circulatory system, and reading a fantastic novel called Pig-Heart boy. We have linked lots of our learning to this incredible story, including dissecting a pig’s heart! Which was exciting, informative, and more than a little bit squeamish! Most recently, we have been learning about maps, compass points and contour lines in Geography. We are looking forward to watching the Young Shakespeare Company again this week, and in our final week of term we will be experiencing biomes around the world using Virtual Reality, so a very exciting and interesting run into half term awaits.
