A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the Maths Cafe in EYFS and Years 1 and 2.
The event was aimed at developing parent's understanding of the maths that takes place in school and ideas on how to support their young mathematicians at home.
Each of today's sessions allowed parents and children to work through a range of activities from the Mastering Number program developed by the Cambridge Maths Hub. They spent the afternoon tackling the kind of maths that the children experience in the classroom every day with extra activities to take home over the next five weeks.
A special well done to the staff who delivered some highly entertaining mathematical activities!
