Year 2 have recently visited Peterborough cathedral to learn about Queen Mary of Scots.
In History, we have been learning about who Mary Queen of Scots is, what her life was like as a very young queen - she became queen at 6 days old!
We went to the cathedral to complete 3 diffferent activities. We talked about Mary's life using a timeline and we put each event in chronological order.
We then had a go at writing with a quill. We were writing a letter from James the 1st. This was Mary's son.
Lastly and our most favourite activity was the murder mystery! We still aren't quite sure who did it though!
